Explore New Mexico and its Native American tribes and culture on this 6-day, 5-night DETOURS Native America tour with Navajo guide and intertribal expert Donovan Hanley. This tour of New Mexico, Colorado, and Arizona takes you to Mesa Verde National Park, Window Rock, Aztec Ruins, Rio Grande Gorge, Santa Fe, the Valles Caldera National Preserve, Taos Pueblo, Acoma Pueblo, and Jemez Pueblo. With his native history, Donovan provides a unique perspective to these sacred lands.

 

During the tour in August, you will visit the Santa Fe Indian Market, the largest and most prestigious juried Native arts show in the world. You will have the chance to meet Native American artists and admire their cultural works.


During the tour in October, you will visit the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta and see hundreds of balloons take flight through the skies. Known all around the world for the fun, this is a celebration you won’t want to miss!
